Biography

Mr. Carabajal joined the St. Matthew's community for the 2021-2022 school year. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Carabajal is currently completing his doctorate remotely, where he studies ways of incorporating accessible teaching practices in field-based learning and promoting inclusive learning communities in earth science departments. Mr. Carabajal’s interests outside of research include hiking, camping, cooking, and rock collecting. Mr. Carabajal cannot wait to share his enthusiasm for science with the St. Matthew's community this Fall.
