Hi Saint Matthew's!I wanted to say a big thank you for sending me to my professional development course. This year I went to a course called Designing for Online Learning for Elementary Students through the Global Online Academy.  Once I found out that we were starting teaching remotely I really wanted to become the best inspiring teacher that I could be.  So through this class I was able to learn ways to increase student engagement, plan for various types of assessments, show me what they know, build relationships and that classroom community that we do at the beginning of the year, even if we're doing it now through a computer screen. I was able to connect with different educators around the world and they taught me cool tricks, like different podcast so I can assign students to listen, to How to plan and design Virtual Field Trips, as well as create a bitmoji virtual classroom, which I was really excited about. I just want to say thank you again for always supporting me allowing me to be the best teacher I can be. Here's to a great year!
