Victoria Rosenberg is very excited to join the St. Matthew's Middle School English faculty this year. She has spent the past four years teaching English at both the middle school and high school level in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles. Victoria received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Cinema and Media Studies from Wellesley College, and upon graduation, conducted education research with Dr. Howard Gardner at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Realizing her passion for being in the classroom, she earned a Masters in Teaching - English Education degree and a Single Subject Teaching Credential from Boston University. She values teaching the craft of writing, delving deeply into texts, and providing scaffolds so that students can lead academically rich discussions. In her free time, Mrs. Rosenberg loves to read, write, travel, hike, and swim. As a competitive swimmer of 16 years and a collegiate varsity athlete, she is also very excited to assist with the swim team.
