Message from the Head of School

Welcome to St. Matthew’s, a warm and inviting community of learners nestled on a green and spacious 28-acre campus. The School combines what I have always considered the key components of an Episcopal education—strong academics, a moral underpinning, and a community that warmly welcomes great kids and families of all faith backgrounds.

 

Like many others, I was hooked on St. Matthew’s the first time I set foot on campus, back in 2011. Interacting with the exceptional people and being part of the rich and active life of the School only increased my devotion to this exceptional place during the seven years I was Head of School.

 

This is why I jumped at the chance to return to St. Matthew’s, this time as Interim Head, for the 2022-2023 school year. There are new programs, new facilities, and, of course, new faces, but what typifies a St. Matthew’s education remains unchanged.
