Intramural Teams

All children in the second through eighth grades are members of either the Blue or White team, and they participate in Blue/White competition during general physical education periods. Special Blue/White events include the Gobbler Bowls in the fall (grade level flag football games) and the Blue-White Field Day in the spring, played in front of enthusiastic parents. A perpetual trophy is awarded at the end of each year to the Blue or White team that has accumulated the most points throughout the year.

Optional, informal and low-key intramural activities are offered during the lunch recess. Interested students may sign up for the event offered and then are placed on a team or given a break in the tournament. Lunch time intramural activities change frequently and are offered to encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork and participation.
