After completing two levels of preschool, the students move up the hill to the Kindergarten classroom located across from the library, where the active learning experiences continue.

• The Kindergarten class is self-contained and team-taught by two fully credentialed teachers with whom they can develop a close bond.

• Additionally, specialist teachers work with the students several times each week for art, music, physical education, library and science instruction.

• The integrated curriculum weaves high quality literature, phonics, journal writing, hands-on mathematics and science, music, art, social studies and physical education, giving kindergartners countless opportunities to develop and refine cognitive and social skills.

Kindergarten students participate in two weekly chapels and plan and carry out special community service projects. They also enjoy special activities and relationships with their eighth grade buddies.
