Endowment at St. Matthew's
What is the Endowment?
Gifts to The Annual Giving Program are “spend-now” and provide critical dollars for this year’s budget and operations. Gifts to our endowment fund are an investment in the long-term financial health of the school.
The endowment is invested for long-term growth to serve present and future generations of students. Income from our endowment can be used in perpetuity to fund the needs and priorities of the school, including faculty support, financial aid for those with demonstrated need, and maintenance of the St. Matthew’s campus.
Our endowment is currently approaching $2 million.
Reasons for Giving
Donors to the endowment fund at St. Matthew’s are making a commitment to the long-term sustainability of St. Matthew’s, while supplementing the current needs of the school. Through your gifts, the legacy of philanthropy lives on at St. Matthew’s.
How to Give to our Endowment
Contributions to the endowment may be made through a single gift or through multi-year pledges. If you are interested in making a gift to the endowment, please contact the Development Office.
Stewardship of Endowed Funds
The St. Matthew’s endowment is currently managed through the Common Fund, prudently invested for long-term growth. All endowment donors will receive a report summarizing our fund’s performance and the distribution of income.
